CDP Redundancy

The CDP Redundancy is a solution where one (active) controller is running the application code, while one to three (standby) controllers are in standby, being updated by the running controller. If the running controller fails, one of the standby controllers take over as the active controller. This takeover happens within a time-interval of at least one process period, but may take more depending on how the redundancy is set up. This means that the redundant application must be tolerant to lost 'samples' or 'runs', like any other CDP application.
