Before using CDP Developer to create your own applications a valid license for this computer must be acquired. This also applies to the CDP tutorial, you can not compile the tutorial without a valid license. We will provide a time-limited demo license for trial purposes. Enter user information in the following fields, push "Send request", and you will get a free trial license within the hour.

Your computer MAC address can be found from the command prompt (Start Menu - Run.. - 'cmd'); type 'ipconfig /all' and read the MAC address, listed as 'Physical Address'. If you have more than one network adapter, choose the address for the first adapter with valid ip-address (different from 0.0.0.0).

When you receive your CDP license key file by mail you copy the file to the CDP license directory, usually 'C:\Program Files\CDP Developer\License'.
