Before using CDP Developer to create your own applications a valid license for this computer must be acquired. This also applies to the CDP tutorial, you can not compile the tutorial without a valid license.

We will initially issue you with a time-limited demo license for trial purposes.

To upgrade your trial license into a student license, we kindly ask that you provide us with contact details for someone at your academic institution that can confirm your status as a student, such as a lecturer, student administrator or similar. A student license lasts for an initial 6 months, and can be extended if needed. Please email this information to to upgrade.

Your computer MAC address can be found from the command prompt (Start Menu - Run.. - 'cmd'); type 'ipconfig /all' and read the MAC address, listed as 'Physical Address'. If you have more than one network adapter, choose the address for the first adapter with valid ip-address (different from 0.0.0.0).
